GPS receiver performance can be degraded by using antenna cables that are too long (greater than 50 feet), or by exposure to electromagnetic interference (EMI).

Issues related to loss of signals
Signal loss occurs when GNSS signals weaken as they travel through long cables. This can make it hard for the receiver to detect the signal, sometimes causing a complete loss. Receivers need a certain signal strength to work properly, and long cables can reduce this strength below the required level.
Improved Solutions
Signal loss depends on the cable's quality and length. For RG-58 cables, over 30 meters can cause issues. Our inline amplifiers fix this by boosting the GNSS signal. This reduces signal weakening. With proper amplification, cable lengths can be much longer. Better cables allow even greater distances.
Interference Mitigation
Interference can disrupt weak GNSS signals. Our inline amplifiers help by filtering out unwanted noise. They block interference and allow GNSS signals to pass through clearly.
Durable, Versatile, and Simple to Install
Our GPS inline amplifiers are tough, adaptable, and easy to install. They are made with gold-plated brass and have watertight packaging. You can get them with SMA, TNC, BNC, or N connectors.
Installation is simple, just connect the amplifier to your antenna cable. It uses the same power as the antenna, so no extra power source is needed. All GPS Amplifiers come with a one-year warranty for parts and labor.
GPS Inline Amplifier Specifications
Inline amplifiers with TNC connectors are 3.770 inches long. The length may vary slightly with “N” and “SMA” connectors.
