580XL-EMI is the perfect light source for performing insertion loss testing on single-mode fiber optic cabling. The 580XLEMIfeatures dual wavelength output (1310nm and 1550nm) for fastand accurate insertion loss measurements. Once the user sets areference with an optical power meter, the 580XL-EMI Laser Sourceprovides stable output for hours of continuous measurements. The 580XL-EMI Laser Source also features a Universal ConnectorInterface (UCI) and can be configured to work with a variety ofconnector types (available separately).
