GPS162 is a sixteen way, passive, GPS signal splitter ideal for splitting a GPS antenna signal between twelve receivers while providing a DC current path to power a remotely located active GPS antenna from one receiver while blocking the DC path from the others. Furnished with TNC type female connectors all ports. A special feature of this unit is the 200 ohm internal load which provides a current drain for the GPS receivers not powering the active antenna. Some GPS receivers incorrectly sense an antenna fault when there is no current draw. The 200 ohm internal load provides a simulated antenna current drain which prevents receiver faulting. Max voltage rating at the DC blocked ports is 10 VDC; maximum current rating is 50 mA. Maximum voltage rating at the DC pass port is 50 VDC; maximum current rating is 2000 mA.
